How to get excessive sweating under control

If this condition causes you stress or embarrassment it is important to see a healthcare provider for a full medical check up to assess whether the excessive sweating is being caused by a medical condition or a side effect of a medication. Primary hyperhidrosis refers to excessive sweating that is not caused by another medical condition or as a side effect of medications. The exact cause is unknown. Secondary hyperhidrosis is excessive sweating caused by a medical condition or as a side effect of a medication. Examples of medical conditions that cause secondary hyperhidrosis include menopause, diabetes, gastritis, and anxiety or stress.
